To The Community,

The Impalas Car Club (a non-profit organization) is comprised of a group of friends and their families. These friends and families are nothing more than car enthusiasts working with community leaders to make the future of tomorrow safer and to extinguish the negative images of the lowrider community.

As we become recognized within the community we look forward to helping more by way of public relations, volunteer work, neighborhood clean-up programs, food drives, toy drives, etc. The goal is to ensure a fun, safe and secure family oriented environment.

As some people think of car clubs as a hobby, the Impalas think of it as positive and fun way to teach and learn responsibility, respect, honor and pride, not only in themselves but for others as well.

The Chico chapter of the Impalas Car Club originally started with four members in 1998 and since then has grown to have 12 plus members and look forward to gaining more. Each year Impalas Chico puts on an annual car show for the community to see and share the pride in the creativity, imagination and talent it takes to build a classic/Lowrider car.

The Impalas Car Club has the confidence that the surrounding communities can see the long-term benefits of our commitment as we work together.
